Symptomatic Treatment of Endometriosis by Anonymous

I'm 34 and I have been using medicinal marijuana for about 4 years for a disease called endometriosis. I have had endometriosis for about 12 years or so, and I have undergone numerous surgeries, including a complete hysterectomy (back in '91 I think my memory's shot from all the hormone therapy!!) I have tried about 8 or 9 different types of HRT's, and at one point I was taking up near 15 Tylenol #3's per day for the chronic pain caused by endometriosis. The symptoms that I can now control with cannabis range from severe chronic pain to depression and mood swings, night sweats, and almost all the problems associated with menopause...10 years of it! Yuck!!!!

I have found pot to be the best medicine for this disease. I hope that more women will find out about this 'old' wonder drug for women�s problems. If you have endometriosis, and use cannabis for your symptoms, I would love to hear your story!
