The Pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis by Anonymous

I have RA (rheumatoid arthritis) from my jowls to my feet. Every joint is affected. I also have acid reflux, I'm not sure if that is why I have a very sensitive stomach, but I do. I can't take meds my doctors prescribe for me because it messes up my stomach. I have tried every med they suggested, only to throw them away. The only relief I get is if I smoke weed. No one can tell me that a natural plant can cause as much damage to a person’s body as man made meds. Look at Vioxx, Bectra etc.. I have tried them and thank God I could not take them. If weed is the only thing I can use to keep my pain under control, then it should be my right to use it. I would like to see someone in the government have the problems I do and not be able to use weed to help with the pain. When I am in so much pain I can't sleep, I can't function very well through the day. If I go on a trip I get stiff from sitting too long. It would be nice to be able to light one up or eat it to help relieve the pain.  But I can't because the government decided that something natural that God made is illegal. I think that's a crock of shit. I should have a choice. Yeah, they say that marijuana makes you paranoid, but if it was legal people wouldn't get paranoid. I hate to have to do something illegal just to be able to deal with my pain. I want a choice.
