Back Pain by Ian Mercer
I was involved in a motorcycle accident four years ago which damaged my back. My physiotherapist has stated that there is no treatment for my injury, though daily stretches and exercises combined with being careful can stop it from getting worse. My doctor has prescribed an anti inflammatory combined with pain killers to reduce the symptoms, but they have very little effect.
I was a social/recreational user of cannabis before the accident and had heard that it can help with joint pain, so I bought an ounce and it proved very effective for reducing the symptoms.
I approached my doctor for a change in my prescription and told him how it had benefited me. His advice was that he cannot condone the use of cannabis but if it helps, I should continue. After many changes to my prescription, cannabis is still the most beneficial drug for my condition.
