Borderline Personality
Disorder My name is Tracy. I am a 25 year old female. I have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder for about 10 years and attention deficit disorder for about 2 years. I have severe mood swings that I cannot control. I get very ornery and mean if I am not medicated. I have been prescribed different meds to lessen the mood swings, but nothing does as well for me as marihuana. Some of the medications I have been prescribed are Depakote, Lithium, Ritalin, Celexa, and Trazodone. For various reasons they never seem to work as well as marihuana. I smoke marihuana 5-6 times a day. It keeps me calm. If it was legal I feel like I wouldn't have many problems. I am constantly waiting to be arrested for finally being "normal" (which is how marihuana makes me feel). I am currently spending about $450 a month on it and if it was legal I am sure insurance would help with that cost. Until that time, I have to hide the key to my sanity from John Q. Public. |
