High Blood Pressure by Anonymous

I was reading some of your older shared stories, and you asked for comments about marijuana and blood pressure. I am a 55 yr. old male and have been smoking for about 35 years.  .I was told many years ago that I had high blood pressure but I never did anything about it. I am now on medication, but have never had any problems or side effects from years of high blood pressure that was untreated. I believe my marijuana use is the reason why. I have been monitoring my blood pressure before and after I smoke and I find that my blood pressure is on average 15 to 20 points lower in both the top and bottom numbers afterward.  The effect lasts somewhat for 24 to 36 hours. .I truly feel that more testing should be done in this area.  I hope this will help some of your readers and yourself.
