Migraine by Greg B.

I was about 14 when my migraines started.  I would lose about half my vision, my arms would go numb, I would vomit and lie down for 12 -16 hours despite over-the-counter pain relievers.  A specialist prescribed a pill that did nothing.  The symptoms stayed the same with no change in severity.

Then one day when I was about 16, I was looking forward to a big social event and I started to lose my vision (the first sign of a headache for me). I decided to be stubborn and fight it and smoked some pot.   All symptoms ceased within 15 minutes and the pain was almost completely eliminated, leaving only the slight feeling of the last few hours of a migraine headache.  I was amazed!

I made sure I had some pot again before I got another headache, which would usually come in about a month. It worked again, then again and again.  I am now 43 and smoke pot regularly for instant migraine relief, insomnia, nausea, and stress and pain management.

It's not a wonder the pharmaceutical companies don't like it.
