Pain Management by AnonymousI
am 44 years old, and I guess I'm a wreck physically. I've had three
surgeries and face a possible fourth pending the outcome of a visit with a
neurologist. Because of a damaged femoral nerve, I have lost 2.5 inches of
muscle from the outside of my left thigh and suffer severe pain daily. I
sleep one or two hours at a time if I'm fortunate. Some days I feel like
just giving up, but I have wonderful support and understanding from friends
and family. Vicodin, ibuprofen, sleeping pills, and Valium have just taken a
toll on my digestive system. Some friends of mine suggested I smoke
marihuana to help with pain, insomnia, muscle spasms, and my intemperate
outbursts toward loved ones. I smoked for a while and noticed vast changes
in all these areas. Smoking pot has helped me stop the use of prescribed
opiates. I
stumbled upon marihuana.com
and received replies that led me to your site. I see hope and a better
quality of life ahead of me. Hopefully my doctor can help with a
prescription or refer me to someone who can. I'm not comfortable buying pot
from street dealers and also don't want to be jailed. I work for a very
conservative employer and they may not agree with pot smoking. |
